Minutes for the Meeting on September 9th 2017
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:03
PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then
by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
There were no minutes for August as there was no meeting before the picnic.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
Opening Balance - $   XXXX.43

Income -   50/50 - $XXX (July and picnic),  Coffee Can $X.00, Hamfest
donation from KB2LLM $XXX.00, Picnic Attendees $XXX.00

Deposit - $XXX.00

Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee (2 Months) , $XXX.92
Verizon Payment (2 Months), Annual Report $XX.50, Payment to KD2ARB for 220
MHz repeater parts $XXX.79, Picnic Reservation $XX.00, Picnic supplies
reimbursement to W2OIL $XXX.00

Closing Balance - $XXXX.22–  so we are $XXX.68 “ahead” compared  to last
year.

A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by N2JUN to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

Technical Report
The new 2 Meter Repeater is working well.  The old backup 2 Meter repeater
has been repaired and tuned up. WB2HKK bought a 2 Meter amplifier for the
backup repeater for $66.00 in order to increase its output and allow it to
run cooler.

Old Business
Weekly net announcements will still run, even though nets will be run on a
“NCS as available” basis.
New Business

The Club Christmas Party will be held on Friday, December 8th at 7:00 PM.
E-mails will go out beginning at the end of October to determine attendance.

Health and Welfare
Gary D'Amico WB2ZAK had recently passed away.
Don K2DSV's wife is coming around, slowly.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by W2OIL and was seconded by K2DSV
The meeting was adjourned at 8:47 PM
