I hope you had an enjoyable holiday. Let’s take a look at what’s
happening this coming weekend.

On Saturday, June 3rd, the Ocean Monmouth ARC will be holding their
annual Spring Hamfest at its new facility at:
The Spring Lake Heights Fire Company No. 1
700 Sixth Avenue
Spring Lake Height, N.J. 07762.
The hamfest will run from 7 am to approximately 12 noon. They have
moved and are no longer at the Infoage site.
The fire company will be manning an extended cooked food assortment.
The new facility has both outside and under pavilion vendor sites with
electric provided under the pavilion. There will also be a VE session
which is planned for 10 am in the firehouse meeting room.

On Sunday, June 4th, there are two hamfests – one in NLI and one in
ENY.
First up is the Mt. Beacon ARC. They will be holding their annual
spring hamfest at the same location as last few years from 8 am to 2
pm:
Employee’s Recreation Center (near Downstate Correctional Facility)
83 Red Schoolhouse Rd (County Route 36)
Fishkill N.Y. 12524
(At the intersection of Old Bedford Lane and Red Schoolhouse Road;
Parking on Red Schoolhouse Road is allowed, but be sure to park beyond
the white line to ensure traffic safety and avoid ticketing.
FCC Exams—All License Classes!
Registration: 9am to 10am
Bring photo ID, original & photo copies of both your amateur radio
license and/or any CSCE’s, if any.
