Good afternoon NNJ-

The Northern New Jersey Section Manager election ballots were counted
today at ARRL Headquarters.  Here are the results of the election:

Steven Ostrove, K2SO (incumbent), received 307 votes.
Rob Roschewsk, KA2PBT, received 399 votes.

Rob, KA2PBT, of Washington, New Jersey, has been declared elected.   His
two-year term of office starts July 1, 2017.

I'd like to thank Steve for stepping into the position last year.  It
has been a pleasure working with him.  I truly appreciate his tireless
and deep devotion to the Hudson Division and the NNJ Section.

I congratulate Rob on his victory.  I look forward to working with him
over the coming years, as I know that he, like Steve, has the best
interests of Amateur Radio, the ARRL, and the NNJ Section at heart.

I'd also like to thank the over 700 members who took the time to listen
to the candidates, form an opinion, and vote.  Both candidates were
winners in my mind as either one would do the NNJ Section proud.  We are
lucky to have both Steve and Rob in the section.
