I just got off the phone with Optimum Shared Services. Optimum has strict
policies on e-mail in an effort to block SPAM.
I got a good explanation of what can cause you e-mail problems that result
in a bad reputation, and ultimately have your e-mail blocked.
You may not realize that how you handle your incoming mail CAN and WILL
affect the sender!
If you do not want e-mail from a particular party, tell them. After you read
an e-mail, delete it, or move it to a save folder.
DO NOT take e-mail and move it to Junk Mail. The providers keep watch over
E-mail and what is moved to JUNK. This is
one of the ways they keep track of what is SPAM.
