Minutes for the Meeting on May 26th 2017
Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:08
PM.
This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by
self-introductions of all those in attendance.

Meeting Minutes
Minutes for the January meeting were successfully emailed. A motion was
made by W2OILand seconded by N2JUN to accept them.

Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.
March 2017 Opening Balance - $XXXX.01
Income -   50/50s - $XX.00,   Members Dues & Donations - $XX.00, Coffee Can
$XX.00
Deposit - $XX.00
Regular Disbursements -  $XX.00 Bank Service Fee , $XX.54 Verizon Payment,
Closing Balance - $XXXX.47–  so we are $XXXX.64“ahead” compared  to last
year.

A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by W2OU to accept the Treasurer's
Report. This was approved by the membership.

echnical Report
The Motorola repeater constructed by WB2HKK will become the primary
repeater. Len spent a lot of time, bith building it and programming it. The
old primary repeater will become the backup at the hospital. A decsison was
made to table the discussion about a new 220 repeater pending the outcome
of the sales at the W2QW Hamfest.

Old Business
Picnic – Still trying to secure dates when the park is available.
Hamfest – Martin WN2JSL has made several donations of sale items. Help is
needed to man the club table.

New Business
None

Health and Welfare
Gene K2KJI's wife is not doing well.

Presentation – Don K2DSV showed several Baofeng handhelds that he purchased
for very little on line
This was followed by a very interesting presentation by Len WB2HKK on AC
Power distrinution

Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting by W2OIL and was seconded by
W2VFW. The meeting was adjourned at 10:16 PM

50/50 – Won by  WB2HKK – donated back to the club
