Subject: Mid - June NNJ News

Thanks to all those clubs that participated in Memorial Day Parades, or
other events, either by marching in the parade or helping with
communications. Your efforts are being recognized.

South Plainfield Amateur Radio Club (SPARC) received recognition by the
Borough of South Plainfield last night by receiving a Proclamation
recognizing this week as Amateur Radio Week.  Congratulation to all of
the club members!

This weekend is Field Day - I hope everyone stays safe (and dry :-) ),
and enjoys the time on the air.  Good luck, have fun, and remember this
is primarily an emergency prep event.  - I will try to get to as many
sites as possible, but I can't get to all of you.   Please send me
information so I (and my GPS) can find you.

The NNJ Section Net (NNJSN) meets the first Sunday of each month on
3.950 MHz at 6:05 PM (following the New Jersey Phone Net).  This month
there were 3 check-ins.  Lets do better on July 2.  Please join in to
the NJPN and NNJSN.
