Minutes for the Meeting on January 27th, 2017Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)
The Meeting was called to order by  President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:00 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  
Meeting MinutesNo minutes were taken at November/December 2016 meeting. There was nothing to read.
Treasurer’s ReportTreasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.November 2016 Opening Balance - $XXXX.95Income -   50/50s - $XXX.00, Coffee Kitty - $XX.00, Holiday Party Donations - $XXX.00 Members Dues & Donations - $XXX0.00Deposit - $XXX.00Regular Disbursements - $XXX – Holiday Party, $XX.00 Bank Service Fee (Dec. and Jan.) , $XXX.55 Verizon Payments (Dec. and Jan.)Closing Balance - $XXXX.40 –  so we are $XXXX.84 “ahead” compared  to last year.A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by N2JUNto accept the Treasurer's Report. This was approved by the membership.

Technical ReportRich KB2LLM announced the repeaters are in good health, but there is some minor crackling being notices in the back up repeater.. There was also some discussion about the co-channel interference being caused by the Alpine repeater.
Old BusinessNone
New BusinessRich KB2LLM has a firend who is an airline pilot that will speak at the February meeting.Donations are needed for the club table that will be at the RVRC Hamfest on June 17th.
Health and WelfareDiscussion began on donations on the behalf of Sks N2VHV and KG2CJ.Al W2DTP is still in rehab.  Alan W2AEW (RVRC) has a broken ankle.
AdjournmentA motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and was seconded by KC2YRC. The meeting was adjourned at 8:38 PM50/50 – Won by KD2BKF– The total $64 was donated back to the Club.
The meeting was followed by a presentation by WB2HKK on how our new Web controlled power strip works and other repeater computer control.Respectfully Submitted,
