GENERAL
I hope everyone had a good holiday - Easter or Passover.

On Wednesday (April 26) there will be an Emergency Drill that will
involve ARES, RACES, and our served agencies.  This is Call Gotham
Shield - Response will be from NYLI, NNJ, SNJ

I will be speaking at:
       the Roseland ARC on April 26 on Eagle Rock Ave in Roseland, NJ
       the RMARC club on May 3 at the Ringwood Library
       the Splitrock Club meeting on May 9.

I will be attending the Splitrock Hamfest this Sunday hope to see you
there

1 - There is a new book available on Grounding and Bonding
2 - ARISS is now back on VHF - Packet 145.825
3 - Sunday is International Marconi Day - Try to participated have fun.

SECTION
1 - Tonight (April 21) Fair Lawn ARC will sponsor Matt Ryffel (K2NUD) -
Topic is "Cyber Security and You" This is an important topic for
everyone - OPEN TO ALL.  Talk will be at the Fair Lawn Senior Center -
11-05 Gardiner Rd. Fair Lawn, NJ

2 - Splitrock Hamfest is Sunday - Horseshoe Lake Park, 72 Eyland Ave,
Succasunna, NJ.  split rock.org/hamfest-2017 for info.

3 - Tonight the Morris ARC will hold an Intro meeting for getting your
Amateur License from 7-8 PM. On May 20 from 8:30 AM to 3PM a HAM-CRAM
class will be presented a VE Exam (open to all) will follow. All to
tsake place at 500 W. Hanover Ave. Rm 139, Parsippany, NJ

4 - Skywarn Training - June 1 at the Passaic County NJ Public Safety
Academy.  300 OLDHAM Rd. Wayne, NJ. Time is 7-10 PM - Pre-registration
is necessary

5 - The NJ- CW Radio Club has become an affiliated ARRL Club -
Congratulations!  They are located in Park Ridge, NJ
