Minutes for the Meeting on August 26th, 2016

Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)

The Meeting was called to order by   President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:15 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance. 

Meeting Minutes

As the minutes of the July 2016 meeting were successfully e-mailed to the membership, the formal reading was waived. A motion was made by NJJUN and was seconded by W2WK. The motion was adopted by the membership.

Treasurer’s Report

Treasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.

Income – 50/50 $xxxxx, Coffee Kitty $xxxx, Dues $xxxxx  ,

Disbursement –  walter w2wiq xxxxx pizza, donation for franks brother $xxxxx, Liability Insurance payment $xxxxxx, Bank Service Fee $xxxxx, Verizon $xxxxx

A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by N2JUN to accept the Treasurer's Report. This was approved by the membership.

Technical Report

Len WB2HKK  gave the technical report – 2 meter repeater is running fine-mention of purchase for power strip for repeater site-Pete KD2ARB said arrl news broadcast will still be aired Mondays 9:00 to 9:15 EST.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 PM by W2OIL and was seconded by K2DSV

50/50 – Won by Hank KD2DRL, $43.00 all donated back to the club. Thanks to Bill W2WK for running the 50/50
