Subject: AME now is working!

 

After months of work my AME Auto Mode Emulation DR-1X interface is working!
Thanks to Steve KE8ARF and John N8HQI for their efforts, because it would
not of happened without them!

Also keep in mind that this is an original idea, created , designed,
programmed right here in Kalamazoo! This is a world wide first and cannot be
found anywhere other then in Kalamazoo

Auto Mode Emulation enables a person to control the DR-1X transmit mode when
connected to a Allstar or other network interface. This allows a user to
access the networks while running C4FM or FM and will get the response in
the same mode. This also allows a user to switch modes just by tapping their
radios PTT  in a similar way that they do to switch modes on AMS. More
information will be posted soon.
