Minutes for the Meeting on October 28th, 2016Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)
The Meeting was called to order by President Vic Pennetta, K2NBC at 8:05 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  
Meeting MinutesThe minutes of the August 2016 meeting were read. A motion was made by K2DSV and was seconded by W2VFW. The motion was adopted by the membership.
Treasurer’s ReportTreasurer’s report as given by Dan KC2YRC.Opening Balance $XXXX.54Income – 50/50 $XX Coffee Kitty $8, Deposit - $XX.00Disbursement – WB2HKK Repeater Parts $XXX.00, Bank Service Fee $XX.00, Verizon $XX.59Closing Balance - $XXXX.95 ($XXXX.30 ahead of last year)A motion was made by W2OIL and seconded by K2DSV to accept the Treasurer's Report. This was approved by the membership.
CorrespondenceRecently received QSL cards  
Technical ReportThe Technical Committee reported that everything is working fine. All Star is fine and the repeater was used the previous weekend for some JOTA QSOs.
Old BusinessThe Christmas Party is to be held on December 2nd at 7:00 PM. The pizzas wil be procured from Costco this year and the suggested donation ot offest party costs is $5.00 per person. Desserts are welcome.
New BusinessThe Scoth Plains Lions Club will be holding its annual pancake breakfast the coming Sunday. Cost is $8.00 and will run from 8:00 to 11:30AM.
Health and WelfareDrew W2OU attended the meeting after a prolonged absence and was welcomed back. Al W2DTP is doing well; as is Jeff N2VHV and his wife.
Good of the ClubPaul KC2VRJ gave a presentation on the various digital VHF/UHF modes.
Adjournment
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:55 PM by N2JUN and was seconded by W2LJ 
50/50 – Won by KC2VRJ, and was donated back to the club.
