All,
I will not be able to attend the August meeting. The family and I have
to make a trip out of state. Here are the minutes for the July meeting.

Technical Report
The Technical Committee meeting went well. Important information was
dispersed to the newer members of the Committee. The Raspberry Pis are
dong well, but it was mentioned that the purchase of an IP Power Strip
would be a wise purchase. This would allow the hard rebooting of the
system (cycling power on and off) remotely via computer. Also, the
Raspberry Pis will need higher capacity HD SD cards in order to
alleviate the clipping problem.
The URI interface that was sent out for repair was replaced with a brand
new unit by the manufacturer.
At the backup repeater site at the hospital, the repeater had gone down
as the power supply was destroyed by a squirrel.
Future plans include for the Elaizabeth repeater to be kinked to the
main repeater via a private WiFi network.
Old Business

New Business
A motion was made by KC2YRC and seconded by WA2USM to make a $75.00
donation to the RVRC for their generosity in giving ETS table space at
the W2QW Hamfest. Drew W2OU responded that this was not necessary, as
the RVRC was only too willing ot help. A vote by the membership defeated
the motion. W2LJ will send a “Thank You” card on behalf of the ETS
(completed).
Dan KC2YRC gave a reminder that “dues are due” and that a new 50/50
person would be needed at the meetings.
A motion was made by W2WIQ and seconded by WA2USM to donate $25.00 to
the Middlesex Public Library in memory of the sister of W2OIL and
KC2YRC.
Health and Welfare
Ron WV2RJR's wife had recent hip replacement surgery.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 9:50 PM by N2JUN and was
seconded by WB2HKK
