As discussed at the last meeting, the ETSNJ needs to get a few younger
members involved with the Technical Committee

to ensure the future maintenance of the radio systems.

          Candidates should have a working knowledge of radio systems and
repeaters ( receivers, transmitters, antennas, duplexers ). 

Also, much of the system is now computer related, so a knowledge of Linux,
Asterisk, and networking is also necessary to maintain the system.

          There is lots of work ahead to update and re-furbish the current
installation. This will be a great opportunity to get involved as we move
forward.

          There will be some discussion at this Friday's meeting.
