Minutes for the Meeting on September 25th, 2015Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)
The Meeting was called to order by President Dave Vadney W2OIL at 8:07 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  
Meeting MinutesThe August minutes were successfully e-mailed to all members. With that in mind, a motion was made by Mike N2JUN and Len WB2HKK to suspend the reading and the minutes were accepted as published.
Treasurer’s ReportVictor K2NBC presented a report for September
Opening Balance – $XXXX.23Income – Dues $XX.00,  50/50 $XX.00, Coffee Can - $XX.00 Deposit - $XX.00Disbursements – Verizon - $XX.48, Len WB2HKK (cake) $XX.00, Picnic Food $XXX.66, Wounded Warriors – two $XX.00 donations in memory of Al Pinto, Bob ConroyClosing Balance -  $XXXX09 (In 2014 the Balance for the same time was $XXXX.51, ahead  $XX.58)
Motion to accept Treasurer's Report was made by Walter W2WIQ and seconded by Drew W2OU.

Technical ReportThe announcement on the ½ hour is now gone. And the Technical Committee is looking at the other announcements and will decide whether or not to keep them as is.Jammer- If anyone talks to the person who has been causing difficulties, please log the cpnversation. Date, time and any pertinent details and send them to Len WB2HKK. He will keep a file.It was decided by the membership to keep the squelch tail and courtesy tone off for now. The 220 MHz and 2 Meter repeaters are both working well.
Old BusinessWalter W2WIQ made a motion to change the amount of members needed to make a quorum to 11 members. This is due to the removal of inactive members from the club roster. W2LJ seconded and a show of hands voted the motion in unanimously.
Christmas PartyWalt W2WIQ will pick up the pizzas. Dave and Dan will supply the paper plates. All members are asked to bring bevrages and desserts.
New BusinessThe club will discuss in coming months a K2ETS auction, to be instituted as a fundraiser. This will be discussed further at the October meeting.
Health and WelfareMarty WB2BEW's wife is doing better than in the recent past.Marty KB2JSG is also feeling better and out of the hospital.John Manna WA2F had recently been in the hospital after suffering from fainting spells, He is also doing better.Frank KG2CJ was suffering from a build up of fluid in his lungs, but it also doing better and is expected to be coming back to meetings soon.
AdjournmentA motion was made to adjourn the meeting by WB2HKK and was the meeting was adjourned at 9:10 PM50/50 - $24.00 was won by Mark WA2ZJZ
