[ETS/PARC List] May 29 meeting minutes

Minutes for the meeting on May 29, 2015 Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS NJ).

 

The meeting was called to order by President Jeff Lih , N2VHV, at 8:10pm. This was followed by reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.

 

Meeting Minutes

The May minutes were successfully e-mailed to all members. With that in mind, a motion was made by Mike, N2JUN,  and seconded by Drew, W2OU, to suspend the reading and the minutes were accepted as published.

 

Treasures Report

Was given by Vic, K2NBC. Opening balance was $xxxx.xx income- 50/50 $xx.xx winnings donated by WN2SJL, coffee kitty donations of $x.xx. Deposit of $xxx.xx in dues, 9 picnic payments $xxx.xx disbursements- $xx.xx to Verizon , -xx.xx to Len WB2HKK parts. Closing balance $xxxx.xx so we are $xxx.xx up from last year. A motion was made by WB2HKK and seconded by N2JUN to accept the treasures report. By unanimous vote the report was accepted.

Technical Report

Len WB2HKK and Walter W2WIQ went up to the repeater site and upon investigation

Suspect a faulty crystal. Crystal ordered and 2 week shipping period estimated. Len commented on his inquiry about Santiago board so far no response from developer of board. All that have helped on the repeater is greatly appreciated.

New Business

Effectively after the meeting Jeff N2VHV is resigning from PRESIDENT due to health reasons. According to bylaws  vacancy in presidency shall be filled automatically by vice president.  All members shall if possible be notified by mail prior to special elections.
