Hi Gang,

In case you aren't aware, there is new technology in place to track down stations causing deliberate QRM and use legal means to stop this behavior. It's first major test is the K1N DXPedition.

If you've been monitoring K1N on 15M CW on 21.005 this morning, you know there is plenty. If a station transmitting deliberate QRM is strong at your location, please take a moment to complete this form here:

http://www.dqrmreport.com/

Let's end this nonsense!

More details, from the web page above, are below:

The DQRM Tracking Project
Recently, the amount and intensity of DQRM (Deliberate QRM) has been growing logarithmically, targeting DXpeditions all over the world. DQRMers attempt to spoil communications and disrupt the joy of chasing DX -- both for those who need to contact the entity, and for the teams who, at considerable expense, activate stations to share contacts with fellow hams worldwide.
Without going into the motivation of DQRMers, the DX Community is taking steps to eliminate this practice.
The KP1-5 Project, which is producing the 2015 K1N Navassa DXpedition, has been working with tele-communications agencies around the world. The objective is to identify stations who are acting as DQRMers and use legal means to stop this behavior. The technogy is in hand to solve this problem and, with your assistance, we can stop this blight that is hurting hams worldwide.

How it Works
Locating the stations engaging in DQRM is a matter of triangulation. When the DQRMer is 60db over S9 at your location, you can be pretty sure that station is nearby. If you fill out the form below, our software will collect and analyze the data to produce a reasonably accurate map of the DQRMer's location. This data will allow a close-in search in the DQRMer's area and, using local transmitter hunting devices, the offender will be identified.
This is a real-time system that's been in development for several years; its first major test will be the 2015 K1N Navassa DXpedition.

What You Do
Fill out the form below with as much information as you can provide. All information will remain confidential. The form will go into a database and our DQRM Project software will do the rest. We can stop DQRM -- and you can help!
Note: Below you'll need to provide your Grid Square; if you don't know it, click HERE to get it; and you'll be able to copy and paste it. Our thanks to David K2DSL for this service.

NOTE: We are getting DQRM forms submitted for people simply calling us on our transmitting frequency and for people acting as "frequency cops". Those stations are not what we're looking to track. The operative word is "DELIBERATE" QRM; those trying to disrupt operations on purpose by seeking to obliterate our signal. Thank you!

You'll find the report form here:

Hi Gang,

I should also add, please spread the word and share this new Deliberate QRM Tracking and Abatement project with your friends, club members and any other means you can think of. The more folks that are aware of this resource, the more likely someone living in proximity to a deliberate QRMr will submit a report that leads to a successful abatement!

Scott,

The LoTW up and download feature is nice. It would be good to also have a Clublog Upload feature as well. Uploading to Clublog makes confirming QSO's fast and easy when purchasing via Clublog OQRS.

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your e-mail. You can use AC Log now to upload your log to Club Log by simply first exporting in ADIF. You'll find more details on the Club Log site here:

http://clublog.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/55716-upload-via-the-website

I would consider adding direct upload to Club Log from AC Log, if only I can think of a way to keep folks from writing me e-mail questions to support it after I did! :)

I'll piggyback on this request, but add that QRZ.com has started their own awards program. I used to log directly to QRZ, now I have to export from ACLog and upload. It would be nice to have a realtime/upload option.

Hi all,
I'm setting up ACLog for the first time and would like to import my old DXBase logs. My DXBase log features contacts from three different call signs. Do I have to import three different ADIF files (one for each call) and therefore have three different log databases in ACLog, or can I put all three calls in a single database? Do I need to go in and change the "operator" fields in my log to make sure the QSOs are mapped to my old calls correctly? I would much rather keep everything in one database instead of three.

Thanks in advance for the help!

73,
Mike, K4GU

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your e-mail. There is no requirement in AC Log that necessitates a separate log for each call sign. You can import all the files into one master log if you like.

That said, I suspect it would be much easier to keep your log organized with LoTW, etc if you keep them separate. I only have one call here, so I don't have any direct experience to draw on, but others will likely chime in and share their recommendations.

This may seem like a dumb question, but how would one copy either selected ACL records or an entire log to the clipboard? I see on the "Awards" page how to transfer data to the clipboard but I see nothing on the file tab or main screen that points me in the right direction. I wanted to experiment copying to Excel.

Thanks to anyone who can assist.
