Minutes for the Meeting on October 30th, 2015Electronic Technology Society of New Jersey (ETS of NJ)
The Meeting was called to order by President Dave Vadney W2OIL at 8:14 PM.  This was followed by the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and then by self-introductions of all those in attendance.  
Meeting MinutesThe September minutes were successfully e-mailed to all members. With that in mind, a motion was made by W2WIQ and W2OU to suspend the reading and the minutes were accepted as published.
Treasurer’s ReportVictor K2NBC presented a report for OctoberOpening Balance – $XXXX.09Income – 50/50 $XX.00, Coffee Can - $XX.00 Deposit - $XX.00Disbursements – Verizon - $XX.44Closing Balance -  $XXXX.65  We are ahead fo the 2014 October balance by $2.24Motion to accept Treasurer's Report was made by Walter W2WIQ and seconded by John N2LGS.
As per an added report by Vic K2NBC, we are getting the best possible rate from Verizon. We are on a residential line instead of a commercial line, which would be approximately $XX.00 more per month.
CorrespondenceJohn WA2F sent thanks for the cards sent to him.
Technical ReportThe repeaters are all in good shape. Nothing of anything to report on the negative side.Jammer- Our jammer has been heard frequenting nearby repeaters and has been staying away from K2ETS.
Old BusinessIt was suggested that in lieu of holding an auction, K2ETS man a club table at the RVRC Hamfest in June 2016 in order to sell off some of the equipment that has been donated, as well as some currently owned club equipment. KC2YRC will send out an e-mail to determine which members are currently housing club equipment.
Christmas PartyDecember 4th 7:00 PM. All members reminded there is a $5.00 donation and please bring desserts and/or beverages to share.
New BusinessThe club discussed linking the 2 Meter and 220 MHz repeaters. No firm decision was reached, left open for consideration.
Health and WelfareLen WB2HKK's mom had passed the day prior to the meeting. W2WIQ made a motion and John N2LGS seconded a $25.00 donation on her behalf to the St. Gertrude Hospice.Bill W2WK had successful knee replacement surgery today (October 30th).Frank KG2CJ's niece had passed away the day before the meeting.
MembershipThe application for membership by Wayne Genz KD2JPQ was accepted and read.
AdjournmentA motion was made to adjourn the meeting by N2JUN and W2VFW and was the meeting was adjourned at 9:05 PM
