JUST A BIT OF SAD NEWS TO TELL ALL FRANK PINTOS BROTHER ALFRED E PINTO PASSED AWAY ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 4 2015 HE WAS 83. SO LETS ALL THINK OF FRANK IN OUR HEART IN THIS TIME OF NEED.ATTACHED IS THE OBITUARY. Alfred E. Pinto 

AGE: 83 • Maggie Valley, NC 

Alfred E. Pinto, 83, of Maggie Valley, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Al was born in Bound Brook, the youngest of 11 children. He was predeceased by his parents, Vito and Santa Pinto; sisters Angie and Rosie, and brothers Joe, John, Jimmy, Tony, and Mike. Left to cherish his memory are brothers Louis of Middlesex, Vito, and Frankie, both of Bound Brook. Al is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley Jean Pinto; daughter Therese (Bobby) Sutton; grandchildren, Henry and Ella, and many loving nieces and nephews. Al leaves behind many loyal friends. 

Al served as a United States Marine at Parris Island, SC. Al and Shirley operated an Italian restaurant, Joe's Spaghetti House, for seven years in Beaufort, SC. They opened Alfredo's Restaurant in 1970, in Maggie Valley, serving loyal customers until 1980. Al was a Sales Associate at Harbor Datsun, and spent many years at Taylor Motor Company in Waynesville, before retiring in 2014. Al served as an Alderman in Maggie Valley for many years, and his service to his community is a legend. He was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Maggie Valley, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. 

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Maggie Valley.
