[ETS/PARC List] Minutes correction

Victor (K2NBC) caught an error - I had the wrong dollar figure for the 50/50.

The correct figure is $25.00 not the $12.00 that I had reported.

So the corrected version follows here:

Meeting minutes for 08-30-13

 

The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by Pres Joe W2OZO at 8:00 PM. We started with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

Minutes of the last meeting were not read as Secretary Gene KC2WDZ was unable to attend. The minutes of our last meeting had been posted on the Internet so Walter W2WIQ moved to accept them and was seconded by Don K2DSV. Former Secretary Jeff N2VHV took the minutes for this meeting. The minutes will be presented next month.

Treasurer’s Report - Victor, K2NBC had given his report to Joe W2OZO who reported that our current balance was $2,836.47.

Technical Report – Rich KB2LLM asked how the members felt about the 220 repeater being connected to the WAN. Everyone approved. He reported that he was working on interfacing the main 94 machine with a computer for ease of control and recovery from failure situations.

Old Business: was not discussed.

New Business: Tim AB2ZK told us about a fund raising project being run by RVRC and asked if we were interested in joining in. George W2VFW then mentioned his displeasure regarding the number of, and volume level of the various messages we have on the main 2M repeater. After some discussion we returned to the fund raising project and decided to hold-off at this time.

We then had a presentation on the HK0NA DX-pedition. Which was acquired by Don K2DSV. The presentation was very well received.

Health and Welfare –No report – all is well.

50/50 – $25.00 won by Rich KB2LLM and was donated back to the club.

Old Business regarding our new slate of officers was not discussed.

Meeting closed at 9:45 PM. After being so moved by Walter W2WIQ, seconded by Larry W2LJ.
There are 18 names on the sign-in sheet. 17 are club members.
