As was pointed out to me, KG2CJ donated his 50/50 winnings back to the
club. Corrected minutes are below.

Meeting minutes for 07-26-13

The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by Pres Joe
W2OZO
at 8:15 PM. We started with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

Minutes of the last meeting were not read.

Treasurer’s Report – 2 reports were given as the May & June meeting were
combined and no report was given.
Victor, K2NBC stated as of June 2nd the balance was $3297.
As of July 26th, the balance was $2838. An approximate $500 increase from
this time last year. Disbursements included liability & equipment insurance
payments and various payments for the ETSNJ picnic on June 2. A profit of
approximately $150 was made with the picnic.
Treasurer’s report was not voted upon as there was no quorum present at
this meeting. Report will be voted upon at the August 30th meeting. In
order to avoid having to go over these reports a second time at the August
meeting, members with questions or who would like further details about the
two treasures reports should contact K2NBC prior to next months meeting.

Correspondence – KC2YRC & W2OIL received a thank you note from the 11 yr
old grandson of K2MD. The winning proceeds of last months 50/50 were
donated to him to put towards a radio as he  obtained his technicians
license at 11 yrs old.

Technical Committee – KB2LLM could not attend. N2VHV reported that there
was a problem with the 2 meter repeater connecting to All Star on a past
Wednesday but otherwise has been connecting fine for the RVRC Sunday night
net.
The 220 repeater is permanently connected to the wide area network via All
Star.

Old business – W2LJ stated he would be interested in taking on the duties
as club secretary. It will be discussed at the next meeting.
W2OZO previously stated numerous times, he needs to resign as club
president and will be doing so at 8:01PM on August 30th at the next meeting.
Any members wishing to be considered for club president please say so.

New business – A discussion and vote will be held at the next meeting to
decide on a donation in honor of club member W2IU Dennis Kopecky (SK).

Please note that the August 30th meeting is the Friday of Labor Day weekend.

50/50 $42 collected. $21 won by KG2CJ, who donated the winnings back to the
club.
