On Jan 6th 2014 at the Union Elks located at 281 Chestnut St. Union NJ 
07083, THE W2LI TRI COUNTY RADIO ASSOCIATION will be hosting a 
presentation featuring Professor Gary Swangin, call sign K2ITT. He will 
give a lecture on the mysterious comets and why these objects were once 
feared and considered to be evil omens in the sky. Also, he will discuss 
the arrival of Comet ISON which may turn out to be the comet of the 
century.


Among the other topics covered in the lecture are: Where do comets come 
from? How can comets help us understand the origin of the Solar System? 
What’s the best way to observe a comet? Weather permitting: observations 
of the constellations and planets will be held. Also, he will discuss 
the arrival of Comet ISON and why this cosmic snowball didn't turn out 
to be the comet of the century
