   ETS of NJ Meeting minutes for 08-31-12

The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by Pres Joe W2OZO at  8:03 PM. We started with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.
Minutes of the last meeting were not read as Secretary Gene KC2WDZ was unable to attend.
The minutes as sent out on the Internet were approved, moved by Jerry KD2KC, seconded by Walter W2WIQ. Former Secretary Jeff N2VHV took the minutes for this meeting.
Treasurer’s Report - Victor, KC2NBC stated that the current balance was $2,342.60.
Accepted as moved by Walter W2WIQ, seconded by Dave W2OIL.
Correspondence – no correspondence.
Technical Report – Rich KB2LLM reported on the trouble we have been having with Verizon.
We were converted to Fios and the problems are still being addressed. 
The Verizon price will remain unchanged. We are also looking at our RVRC links.
that all is well and that they are still working on Old Business: Drew W2OU has been working on ETS club apparel, and had sample items for size checking and order forms. We must order 30 items on our first order to get the club discount, With the club order we avoid sales tax and shipping charges. The order must be shipped to one address, New Business: Joe W2OZO mentioned that Gene KC2WDZ may be having problems as this meeting is the fifth one that he has missed this year.
DennisW2IO brought up the issue of club dues for 2013 being uncertain. 
After some discussion, Victor KC2NBC told us that our treasury balance was “comfortable”, so Jerry K2MD moved to continue the $30.00 dues for
2013 and was seconded by Walter W2WIQ. Carried.
50/50 – $36.00 Was won by Tim AB2ZK who donated the winnings back to the club.
Motion to end the meeting made by Mike N2JUN, seconded by Drew W2OU.
The meeting closed at 9:33 PM.
There are 27 names on the sign-in sheet. 25 are club members.
