*Meeting minutes for 09-30-11*



President Joe W2OZO called the meeting to order at the Clark Municipal
Building at 8:01 PM, starting with the Pledge Of Allegiance and roll call.



Minutes- Motion to delay till the October meeting the reading of the Augusts
minutes was made by Drew- W2OU and seconded by W2WK- Bill.



Treasurers Report-

KC2NBC stated that the current balance as of 09/30/11 was $XXXX.xx. The club
also made a profit of $XXX.xx from Septembers ETS picnic. Accepted by Jeff-
N2VHV and seconded by Rich- W2PQ.



Correspondence- none reported.



Technical Report-

No report given. Joe- W2OZO did point out that any work needing to be done
at the repeater site should be completed within 6-8 weeks due to the
possibility of limited access to the site during winter.



Old Business-

Walter- W2WIQ stated that the picnic went well, people had a fine time and
the weather was good. 42 adults and 1 child paid to attend, W2OZO and KC2NBC
made possible the donation of 2 radios, which were raffled off, the Vadney
family donated wine. Walter expressed thanks to KC2YRB and KC2YRC for all
their help in making the picnic a success. A 50/50 was held at the picnic
and the winnings were donated back to the club.

Joe- W2OZO stated that ETS is late getting a complete repeater site
inventory list to the county, which needs to be done A.S.A.P. and will be
discussed further at next meeting.



New Business

Walter- W2WIQ is stepping down as picnic committee chairman. He feels KC2YRB
and/or KC2YRC would be good candidates to take over picnic committee, to be
discussed further at next meeting.

W2WIQ made a motion to move next years picnic to month of June, seconded by
KC2WDZ, majority voted in favor.  W2WIQ and KC2NBC are to try and secure
park permit for 1st or 2nd weekend in June 2012. There was some discussion
about changing or adding to the picnic menu, possibly a BBQ. K2DSV mentioned
the possibility of members bringing food to the picnic.

W2WIQ made a motion for the ETS holiday party to be a pizza party at the
Nov/Dec meeting, seconded by KC2WDZ.

Joe- W2OZO spoke about members’ lack of help/input towards ETS. Stated that
it would be of great benefit to ETS if more members would dedicate just 1
hour a month to ETS. He also stated that there is a big need for Net Control
Operators on Wednesday evenings. If more members don’t perform NCO duties,
the net may need to be reduced to every other week.

Walter- W2WIQ made a motion for ETS to make a donation to the M.S. Society
in support for the passing of the sister of ETS member Gene- KC2WDZ.
Seconded by Victor KC2NBC.



50/50- $XX.xx won by Jeff- N2VHV, who donated it back to the club.



Motion to adjourn was made by Joe- W2OZO and seconded by Walter- W2WIQ.



Meeting closed at 9:18 PM.



There are 18 names on the sign-in sheet, 17 are members.

The Next ETS of NJ meeting is October 28th 2011
