 ETS of NJ Meeting minutes for 4-29-11
The meeting was called to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by President
Joe, W2OZO at 8:06 PM, starting with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

A special program then commenced by guest Dr. Barry Cohen, K2JV who gave a
presentation on the old and rare QSL card collection of Silent Key Joe
Painter, W2BHM.

The minutes of the last meeting on March 25th were not read. Walter, W2WIQ
moved to accept, seconded by Greg, K2KGG.

*Old Business* –

Jeff, N2VHV Cast the single vote for new officer, electing Gene KC2WDZ as
club secretary.

Walter, W2WIQ spoke about having the club picnic possibly in September.

*New Business* –

Joe, W2OZO spoke about field day on June 25-26. Asking which members would
be interested in getting involved in the event and on possible locations.

*Treasurer’s Report* -

Victor, KC2NBC stated that the current balance was $*,***.66. Accepted by
Larry, W2CJ and seconded by Walter, W2WIQ.

*Technical Report* –

Rich, KB2LLM reported that the 220 machine is operating but requires more
programming of Asterisk. He spoke on how the programming is long and tedious
for proper operation. The 220 machine will be permanently linked to the W2QW
440 repeater when complete. After the 220 repeater is operating in an
acceptable condition the 2 meter repeater will be put on the Asterisk
system.

*Correspondence* - No correspondence was reported.

*50/50* –

Larry, W2CJ won $35.00 who then donated it back to the club.
 A motion to adjourn was made by Walter, W2WIQ and seconded by George,
W2VFW.
Meeting closed at 9:48 PM.
