[ETS/PARC List] Nomination Committee Formed

ETS of NJ Members,

At our last Business Meeting, Friday, March 4th, a Nominating Committee was formed to 
present the Officers for ETSNJ for the year 2011. The committee members are Dennis, 
W2IU, Greg, K2KGG, and Harvin, K2CPA.

As part of that effort, nominations come from the membership in various 
ways. If you would like to nominate anyone, even yourself, please let us 
know and we'll pursue the proposed nominee (endlessly).
 
The offices open are the usual slate of offices (President, Vice-President, 
Secretary, and Treasurer), with the following information added:
 
President Joe, W2OZO, would be happy to continue as our President for another year,
but welcomes any member who wishes to run against him in an election.
 
Vice President Tim, AB2ZK, would be happy to continue as our Vice President for
another year, and if someone feels they would like to oppose him on our ballot,
then that member should step forward.
 
Treasurer Victor, KC2NBC, would be interested in being elected Secretary,
if someone would take over his present office of Treasurer; in other words,
Victor will not hold two offices: either a candidate(s) for the office of Tresurer would
need to come forward in order for our members to consider Victor, in an election,
to the office of Secretary, in place of Jeff Lih, who is stepping down after many
years of service to our club, or Victor will stand for election to the office of Treasurer again.
 
Secretary, Jeff Lih, as explained above, then creates an opening for a candidate(s)
to come forward for the office of Secretary.
 
Our Board of Directors continues in their term for another year, and will not require
candidates to come forward for this election.       
 
All of our officers standing for election have expressed a sincere desire for anyone who
would like to give any of these offices a try, to please express your interest, and it
will be greatly appreciated. Please contact anyone of us on the Nominating Committee below,
if you are interested in helping the club with a good slate of names.
