Meeting Friday MARCH 4, 2011 (rescheduled from Feb 25, 2011)

Remember that it is THAT time again and that DUES are now $25.00
Minutes from the January meeting: (held Feb 4 2011
The meeting postponed because of heavy snow from 1/28/11 was called to
Order at the
Clark Municipal Building by President Joe at 8:15 PM, starting with
the
Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.
Jeff N2VHV, read the minutes of the last meeting. Jerry, KD2KC moved
to accept, seconded by Tim AB2ZK..
Treasurer’s Report - Victor, KC2NBC stated that the current balance was
$x,xxx.xx.
Accepted by Larry W2LJ and seconded by Harvin K2CPA.
Correspondence – Victor KC2NBC told us about the bank that the club
uses changing from Wachovia to Wels Fargo..
Technical Report – Gene KC2WDZ reported that the 220 machine is still
being worked on but that we are unable to get to the site because of
the heavy snow. Gene is also working on a special board for asterisk
use.
Old Business – was not discussed.
New Business – We discussed the RVRC/ETS relationship regarding the
repeaters, and learning from the weather that we have had that we
should try to avoid scheduling anything to do with the repeater site
during the December to March time span.
We also decided that the Feb meeting would be moved from 2/28 to March
4.
Victor is also going to send out “Dues Reminders” E-Mails.
George W2VFW brought up the point about repeater messages and that he
felt that they were somewhat excessive, this led to a general
discussion with many people agreeing with George.
We did not take any action yet.
Health and Welfare – Jeff reported on Don K2DSV’s condition and that he
was improving.
50/50 – was not run
A motion to adjourn was made by Larry W2LJ and seconded by George ,
W2VFW.
Meeting closed at 9:21 PM.
There are 16 names on the sign-in sheet. All are club members.
