First, it was nice seeing some of you at the meeting last night.

 

A few items.

 

At Junes meeting Walter, W2WIQ, resigned as a Director and Member of the
Technical Committee. We need to have another Director. Jeff, N2VHV has
volunteered to take Walters place as a Director. While no one objects to
this the club bylaws suggest that we hold an election to fill the Director
Position. Accordingly, we will have an election at the August meeting to
fill this position. IF there is anyone else who would like to be considered,
please contact me at your earliest convenience. Additionally, we will accept
nominations from the floor. We will conduct the election at the August
meeting one way or another.

 

If anyone would like to help out on the Technical Committee, please contact
Rich, KB2LLM.

 

As I have mentioned before, I will be unable to continue as Net Control
every week. The Vadney brothers have agreed to take on week, Tim, AB2ZK has
agreed to coven when he is available - though Tim has challenges with his
time as well; Vic, KC2NBC has volunteer to assist when he is available as
well - but again Vic has significant demands on his time as well. Gene,

KC2WDZ has volunteered, but is quit strapped for time with his new home (in
addition to being club secretary, one of the leads on the All Star project,
AND being the webmaster!) Is there another member who will consider stepping
up? It is a really simple task, I'll provide you with the script, you fill
in a couple of blanks (like name and call sign!) and voila! You are in
business! Please give this some consideration.
