For some of you Hamsters, here is a link to some interesting research regarding the "human ear reception of RF," that I came across on Wikipedia.
This sounds like science fiction but imagine hearing RF signals and then blocking them with aluminum flyscreen behind your head... Are you hearing PSK31 after turning off the rig? If so, try rapping your head in aluminum flyscreen....I guess we are all a bunch of cavity heads after all!

"A condition which mimics tinnitus is RF hearing (radiofrequency hearing), in which subjects have been tested and found to hear high pitched transmission frequencies that sound similar to tinnitus."
