*Members,
Jerry is a member of ETSNJ and his EZ Way tower was bent in a recent
windstorm. He has some questions.
If anyone can help him with any information on how to get the sections
repaired/replaced or if anyone knows of a tower that's available please
respond. see below:

*Dear Drew,
We've had some bad luck. My trusty EZ Way Crank up/tilt over 55' tower bent
over in high winds recently. The base and first section are fine...but the
top section is badly bent over!
Several questions:
1. Does or can anybody manufacture a top section for
this long out of business tower?
2. Who does antenna/tower work around our part of the
world? At age 78, I can no longer attempt
what once I did!
3. Does anyone have experience at re-using the in the
ground base for a tower? It's there forever,
with three legs with stainless flanges implanted four feet into the
concrete.
Has anyone used a thick steel plate
to adapt an old base to the requirements of a different new tower? All
advice appreciated.
Thank you, Jerry Salzer, KD2KC (732) 382-2238 salzerj at comcast.net
