Minutes from last meeting:


Called  to Order at the Clark Municipal Building by President Dave W2OIL at 
8:01  PM.
Starting with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.
Minutes of last  meeting were not read. John AB2VE moved to accept,  seconded 
by Tim  KC2PLK.
Treasurer’s report by Treasurer Victor KC2NBC -the balance at hand is  
$xxxx.xx.
Accepted by Walter  W2WIQ, seconded by Drew W2OU,  
Correspodence:  no action needed.
Technical Report – Rich KB2LLM  told us that all is well on all of our 
repeater units. 
Old Business: Walter  withdrew his name from the Director candidates. Jeff 
N2VHV as secretary cast the  single vote needed to install the new officer slate.
The new directors are  John K2DPM and Frank KG2CG.
Dave W2OIL continues as President, with John  AB2VE as the new Vice President.
Victor KC2NBC continues as Treasurer with  Jeff N2VHV as Secretary.
Dave W2OIL reported on the HMV situation, ETS  realized 25% of the proceeds 
and received a check for $800.00, so the HMV issue  is fully resolved to 
everyone’s satisfaction.
New Business – Walter W2WIQ  brought up the annual ETS picnic and that Al 
W2DTP has secured the permit which  is for 9/14/2008.
Health and Welfare – No issues.
General  Discussion:  Rich KB2LLM is trying to arrange for a Planetarium  
presentation at our next meeting. Rich also mentioned that we may be getting  
involved in an education project at the Elizabeth Hospital backup repeater site  
regarding ham radio and getting some of their people licensed. We also 
discussed  the K2ETS QSL cards and Don K2DSV talked about the proper procedure 
regarding  the use and logging of K2ETS contacts.
The 50/50 of $18.00 was won by Walter  W2WIQ. 
Motion to adjourn was made by Walter W2WIQ and seconded by Al  W2DTP.
Meeting closed at 8:49 PM.
There are 19 names on the sign-in sheet  with 19 members.
