[ETS/PARC List] Uncle Al's Equipment

Good day to All,

As many of you  know, I was kind of close to "Uncle Al", especially towards 
the end. 
I have  developed a warm relationship with his family during that period of  
time..
Following Al's wishes, the family has asked me to take care of his  equipment.
Following those wishes, I announced it last night on the Wednesday  night 
net, and mentioned some of the highlights (Al always said "Don't forget  net 
tonight" as we left from our weekly Wednesday morning  breakfasts).

Basically, I have lots of stuff in my garage. and am  building an inventory 
with suggested prices per item.  The equipment will  be offered to ETS members 
first at a  "sweetheart" price, which means less  than current market value. 

The idea here being that everyone that knew  Al would perhaps want a piece of 
his equipment which would then find a home  where that  piece of equipment 
would be treated with a bit of  respect.

Equipment is quite varied - there is fairly new stuff, some real  GOLDEN 
OLDIES, and lets be honest, some pretty old items.

The basics will  be:
1 You will be able to see and touch the various items at my QTH.
2.  Any piece of equipment that is sold "AS WORKING" may be returned for 
refund if  any serious problem arises within a reasonable time before I pass the  
monies  to his estate..
3. Any item sold "AS IS" is just that - AS IS  and it is yours forever.
4. All monies realized from this activity will go to  his estate.

Equipment not sold to ETS people will be sold to whoever may  be interested, 
then hamfested and/or Ebayed.

I hope to have the inventory  list ready for our next meeting.
I ask you all to wait until the meeting  before asking to "graze" over Al's 
stuff.
