Minutes from December's meeting

Meeting minutes for 12-08-06

Meeting at Votech was called to  order by Pres Dave W2OIL at 8:05PM. We  
started with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by roll call. 
The minutes of the last  meeting were presented by Jeff N2VHV. Bill W2WK 
moved for acceptance seconded by  Tony N2WRK. 
Treasurer’s report as  prepared by Treasurer Al W2KOG, was given by Pres 
Dave. 
The balance was $xxxx.xx.  Motion to accept was made by Tony N2WRK and 
seconded  
By  John AB2VE.  
Correspondence: Jeff read  correspondence from the American Cancer Research 
Organization  thanking the club for out donation in  Charlie’s name.  
Health and Welfare. Al W2KOG  mentioned Walter’s brother Robert and that the 
club 
would send donation to Sloan  Kettering. Al also mentioned about Jimmie N2LFI 
being  
back in the  hospital. 
Technical report: Rich  KB2LLM mentioned that the main repeater is fine and 
that the   
Backup repeater in Elizabeth is running barefoot. Rich  is also tweaking the 
220 unit which is OK. We also have the repeater cabinets  that we need. 
We also have to send $20.00  to MetroCor – moved by Jeff N2VHV and seconded 
by Walter W2Wiq –  passed..  
Old Business - general  discussion on bylaws with Jeff suggesting that the 
executive board   
Review – there was no  vote. 
New Business:- Drew W2OU  mentioned that we should make a donation to 
QTH.NET. 
He motioned that we send  $50.00 and was seconded by Jeff N2VHV – voted and 
passed. 
Al W2KOG will send the  check. We also mentioned our “Thank You” $50.00 
Christmas fruit basket  gift for Kathy at the main repeater  site. 
Jeff also mentioned that he  is investigating alternative club meeting 
sites..:   
The 50/50 of $15.00 was won  by Tom W2BRD. 
Motion to adjourn was made  by George W2VFW and seconded by Rich KB2LLM  
The meeting was closed at 9:19
