REED Molly Reed Ham radio operator, 83 Of Scotch Plains Molly Reed, 83, 
of Scotch Plains died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Overlook Hospital, 
Summit. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Bartholomew the Apostle R.C. 
Church, Westfield Avenue, Scotch Plains, on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 10:30 
a.m. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Memorial 
Funeral Home, Fanwood. Born in Kearny, Mrs. Reed lived there before 
moving to Scotch Plains 35 years ago. She was employed in the admitting 
office at JFK Medical Center in Edison before retiring. An amateur ham 
radio operator, she was a longtime member of the New Providence Radio 
Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell, in 1995.
