Meeting minutes for  01-26-07


Meeting at Votech was called to order by Pres Dave W2OIL  at 8:02 PM. We 
started with the Pledge  of Allegiance, followed by roll call. 
The minutes of the last meeting were presented by Jeff  N2VHV. Al W2DTP moved 
for acceptance seconded by John N2LGS  
Treasurer’s report as prepared by Treasurer Al W2KOG, was  given by Pres 
Dave. 
The balance was $xxx.xx. Motion to accept was made by  John N2WRK and 
seconded  
By  Pete  W2NJU. 
Correspondence: Jeff read 3 items acknowledging ETS  contributions.   
Health and Welfare. Jimmie N2LFI is now in rehab, Guy  K2IH is in rehab, 
Maury is still 
hanging on,  and Hank N2MU spoke to Sid WA2EEA  
Technical report: Rich KB2LLM mentioned that the main  repeater is fine and 
explained the beeps.  He also mentioned delivering the fruit basket to  Kathy. 
Old Business – Dave W2OIL mentioned the annual holiday  party and what a 
success it was.. There was no action regarding the By Laws  review... 
New Business:- Joe KC2OZO started a discussion about  Echolink which resulted 
in the creation of an EchoLink committee which will be  chaired by Pete 
W2NJU.. 
General Discussion was generally about the FCC and the  new code rules.:   
The 50/50 of $20.00 was won by Al  W2DTP. 
Motion to adjourn was made by John N2LGS  and seconded by Pete  W2NJU  
The meeting was closed at 9:00 
There are 18 names on the sign-in  sheet.
