I received a phone call tonite from Joann WA2VHW about her father's
ham equipment in Linden, NJ.  (She said she had seen my name in the
newspaper concerning a class I was teaching, so your articles are
getting into the papers Keith - thanks)

A ham since age 13 and now age 87, her father (John K2YNT) is giving up ham radio
reluctantly.  She would like someone to help her get rid of it all,
including loads of parts, a 50-foot crank-up tower with a 2-meter beam
and a 10-15-20 beam.  I believe she said the rig was an FT-101.  It
sounds like a lot of quite old equipment.

My first thought is that some person/group up in north Jersey should
be able to help her better than we could.  My second thought is that
much of it sounds too old to interest the club, though there might be
an individual club member interested.

If anyone is interested in taking care of this matter, please contact
