Frank,
Long time no hear. Thats my fault cuz I don't
transmit. I'm maintaining "radio silence" for no other
reason than no free time and intrest in other hobbies.
I was soo lax that I almost let my license laps last
summer, but I filed real quick b4 It was gone. I
looked at all the rigs I have that I never use and the
one that I'm pretty sure I'll never really use alot
even if I do get back into the hoppy is the 751A I
bought it in 1993 from Lentini up in Connecticut for
$677. The price included the module for the PL tones.
That was the one beef that I had with the radio.
Kenwood was too cheep to build the radio with the PL.
I got an email from Don that on ebay there is a 751a
in good condition for 250. I didn't look at it and
don't know its like. I'm asking 400 because the unit
was never used. I was hot and heavy into ssb for about
a year. Its sat in the office hear, never been taken
outside and works fine. I think thats a fair price
because its as close to being like new that a 10 year
old rig can be. Let me know what u think. I'll try to
call u later. I'm going down to Westfield cuz my Dad
still lives there and relys on me. Then over to Beths
Moms for some quality time "shoveling".
Hey lucky u down there in Bound Brook. They built ur
flood control portion of the project. I'm still
waiting for the project to advance into my town. Lats
I heard was that unless the rich bastards in Berk Hgts
and Watchung ok the upper portion of the project, they
won't do anything more. Thats N.F.G. but what can u
do. Be thanbkful u got ur stuff. Ok off my soap box
and back 2 wrk.
