 > and discuss how they are affected by various HF band conditions. The
 > talk will feature an operating demonstration and a discussion of

 > applications of these and similar communication systems.

 > David passed the Technician Class examination in 1993 after David's
 > college roommate KA9QOA introduced him to ham radio.  He graduated
 > from Iowa State University in 1994 with a BS in Computer Engineering.
 > David worked 1 year with Eaton Corporation's Appliance and Specialty
 > Controls division, 3 years with Motorola designing software for GSM
