[ETO_Alpha] Source for 3CX8007A tubes?

Joe, FWIW I can provide some anecdotal info. Over the past few years I
have spoken to a couple of amp manufacturers, and they have spoken
disparagingly of Svetlana 3CX800s. OTOH, a local ham who is a retired
sparks from the Merchant Marine and who homebrews his own VHF and UHF
amps, thinks the Svetlana tubes are just fine.

I purchased two Svetlana 3CX800s from Tom's Tubes' estate. Since he
couldn't or didn't want to guarantee the tubes, the seller sent me three
for the price of two ($500). I plugged them all into my amp and they
behaved properly vs the Eimacs which they replaced. They are now on the
shelf as backups, so I have no long term experience with them.

YMMV.
