[ETO_Alpha] Software for Alpha 4510 Meter

I downloaded from the Alpha website the software for my 4510 meter and
installed it on my new computer running Vista Home Premium.  I cannot get
the software to recognize the meter  -- I keep getting an error message.  I
tried to modify the .ini file to make sure the software looks to the right
com port, but was unable to revise the file.  Can anybody point me in the
right direction?
