Hi Robert,

I just joined this list (reflector) this past weekend, and your post in 
the first one I've seen.

Have you tried calling/e-mailing Alpha about the Low Drive Mod? They 
would be a good bet for info for sure.

Also, there's an excellent Alpha expert that does mods and repairing of 
Alpha amps. His name is Richard Byrd, N4UQ. A very knowledgeable and
