[ETO_Alpha] Wax On, Wax off

According to Alpha (it's in the '99 manual somewhere), it's better to leave the amp on than to cycle the power a few times in an evening. A friend with a 91b told me that his approach is when he's going to be DXing on a particular evening that he turns the amp on at the beginning of the evening and leaves it on until he's going off the air for the day. I keep telling myself I'm going to adopt that approach, but haven't had enough air time lately to worry about it. Besides, if you leave it on, there's no need to go through that agonizing "longest 2.5 minutes in the world" wait.
