[ETO_Alpha] QSK Keying intermittent w/ Omni VI+

I'm hoping someone on the list can help with this.  When my Alpha 99 arri=
ved
last August I did a lot of checking with both Alpha and Ten-Tec, and fina=
lly
determined that the '99 would work inside the Ten-Tec keying loop (i.e., =
TX
Out -> Amp Key In, and Amp Key Out to TX En.)  It has worked fine like th=
is
until a couple of weeks ago when I noticed that the amp was simply not
engaging on a character now and again.  Tonight while chasing VP8THU it h=
as
gotten to the point where 30-40% of the characters are not keying the amp=
=2E  I
reseated the connectors to assure good low-R connections, but no change. =
 Has
anyone else seen this behavior, and if so, what have you done to make the=
 QSK
reliable?  I like the TT keying loop because it assures no hot switching,=
 so
would like to continue to use it...  Thanks in advance and 73,
