Yep. Dummy load resistors have a finite lifetime, it seems. I had been
lugging around a "Benton Harbor Paint Can" full of mineral oil from move
to move for decades. I first filled it in 1968 in Houston TX.<see
below> Not long ago, while using it as a port terminator on a duplexer,
the port isolation was nowhere near what it should be. Ohmmeter said
the Cantenna had become a 97 ohm dummy load.
