 Tony,
I have had somewhat related behavior with my KPA500, involving buttons sometimes working in odd ways or not working at all (e.g., not being able to go out of Standby mode).  The solution has been to drop the front panel and take off and clean the ribbon connectors that you can remove and spray some contact cleaner on the pins. That has always done the trick for me. 73, andy ae6y

 All:

I've noticed that my KPA500 display changes from power output to temperature when I switch from operate to standby. I've always assumed that this was normal. However, I've noticed that whenever I short press the TEMP button to display PA temperature, the amp momentarily switches to a different band, which the auto-band switching corrects when transmitting.

The amp works normally as it always did, but I'm wondering if there's an issue with the microprocessor.

Anyone else seeing this behavior with their KPA500?

Thanks, Tony
