[Elecraft] K3 Utility on Mac Tahoe

All of a sudden the K3 utility is not connecting to the K3.  
Here’s what I see in sequence:
“Initializing",
"The K3 is not responding to IsK3Zero request"
Color wheel spinning
"Connected device does not appear to be an Elecraft K3"
The ICON appears in the dock
Clicking on “show all windows” displays the normal screen, but clicking on it causes it to vanish.

KX3, KAT500, KXPA100 utilities, WSJT-X, Maclogger, FLdigi & Skookum work just fine.  Help!
