Hello all Just by way of feedback (thanks to those who offered suggestions), it is indeed one of the ceramic fuses that's gone in my KPA500. I now need to source one, hopefully here in the UK, and then hope that it solves the problem and there is nothing more fundamental going on. 73 Don G3XTT
