Good Evening,

    After a sunny week the forest was dry.  I got a lot of work done 
before last night's welcome rain.  Too much time up and down and on 
ladders has me sore.  Luckily no one muscle group is complaining more 
than any other.  Spring chores are proceeding.

    The forest is waking up.  More green leaves, more birds, more 
insects, and more flowers.  The hummingbirds will greet me tomorrow 
morning awaiting a feeder refill.  My survival depends on my alacrity.  
The sun has fewer spots, and those are less active than they have been 
lately.  The last unstable group is passing over the limb.  There may be 
less noise and milder QSB.  One never can tell unless they get on the air.
