Hello again,
Finally got the answer to my M1 memory recording fire drill!!
I didn't notice, at first, you can only put in 40 characters.
Go beyond that and strange things happen!
Record and playback works FB now.

Hi all,
Been trying to record a CQ in the M1 slot.
I can send for about 29.24 seconds and the display changes to TX TEST END and that's it.
I have the xmtr in the TST mode. I have to think that's where it's supposed to be w/o burning the battery in actual xmit!
Anyway, can't complete a CQ message to it's end w/o it stopping at TX TEST END. I could keep sending but that's where it ends in playback.
Thats all it plays back.....the CQ message till the TX TEST END comes up. Just cuts it off there.
I followed page 18 on the right side.

What's going on??
