Yes I do agree with Jim, K9YC.    However, should the amp be powered 
from residential electrical outlets where there are usually 4 or 5 on 
the same circuit and using the stab-in connections, the 120V voltage 
drop may be excessive under full load.  The amp should not display the 
HV to be less than 60 volts at 500 watts output.   If it is less than 60 
volts, I would question the line regulation of the 120 volt service.
