There is still one more oddity for which I'm looking for help:  when switching antennas, going to ANT1 brings up a momentary antenna graphic and "50MHz". Switching to ANT2 brings up the same graphic and "HF".  (My SK friend was a big VHF fan.)

I don't see anything in the K3 Utility to clear this. Any ideas?

When I click on the  " K3 Utility (Windows Version 1.24.10.25) "   I get a security warning and can't proceed. Going further shows a CRDOWNLOADS file, which isn't obvious how or whether to try to open it.
What's the trick?
